High School

Bible Study

In order to stay connected to a supportive faith community during the teen years, Creator Lutheran high school students meet weekly (Sundays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM) for an informal Bible Study and dinner. Youth representing 4 local high schools engage in discussions about prominent issues youth currently face and how God’s Word can help them navigate through the exciting and challenging times of life.  Video lessons are interesting and inspirational, and discussions promote deeper friendships.

Peer Ministry

High School students who wish to continue the faith formation begun in Confirmation can also become Peer Ministers. Peer Ministers are provided training on listening, mentoring and leadership skills to successfully work with Creator Confirmation students.   Peer Ministers are also wonderful role models for younger children in their youth group activities. They provide experience and maturity in the presentation of the Youth Led Worship service, Vacation Bible School and other church-wide events. Peer Ministers also have opportunities to grow through their own weekly small group devotions and discussions.

Family Sunday School

Please join us for FAMILY SUNDAY SCHOOL!  This new approach to learning and exploring God’s Kingdom comes from a desire to

·       Equip families to carry out Christian practices at home

·       Combine Christian Education with Mission and Service

·       Incorporate Faith formation into the Worship Service

·       Facilitate multigenerational discussion and wonderment about Bible Stories and God’s message for us today.

For these reasons, we would like to invite ALL to join us in Creator Family Sunday School.  All ages are welcome!  Parents, Grandparents, and siblings will eat breakfast together, hear a Bible Story, wonder and discuss the story, and learn some new music—all together!  Service projects will also be a big part of our time together.

Peer Ministry

Wednesday Evenings from September through May from 7:00pm-8:30pm

For students in 9th – 12th grades:  Confirmation doesn’t have to end.  You can be a helper!  We need Peer Ministers to help out with Confirmation small groups, go on retreats, and lead devotions at youth group outings.  If you are interested in becoming a Peer Minister, plan to attend classes on Wednesdays during Confirmation time (7pm-8:30pm).   If you attend these classes and are properly trained, you can be a helper on retreats.

~~What is World Vision’s
30 Hour Famine?

The 30 Hour Famine is an international movement to fight hunger as well as bring group members closer to Christ and one another, while forever changing our perspective of those in need.

On February 27 & 28, 2015 Creator members will take on the
challenge of going without food for 30 hours.  During the 30 hours, we will not only experience hunger firsthand,
but by raising money through friends and family who sponsor us,
we will be supporting both emergency relief and
long-term development projects that help break the cycle of
hunger and poverty in our world.
