Good morning everyone,
Last night (March 12) I, the Preschool board, Ms. Farrer and Mrs. Allen met to discuss the latest developments in the COVID-19 virus and what steps we needed to take.
We agreed that our top priority was the health and welfare of our Preschool children and their families. In order to help slow down the transmission of the virus, we decided it was best to follow the mandate Governor Inslee issued yesterday to close all public and private schools in Pierce, King and Snohomish counties.
Therefore, we will be closing Creator Preschool as of Monday, March 16 until Friday, April 24. Our hope is that we can resume classes on Monday, April 27. We will not collect tuition for the month of April. While we would normally end school at the end of May, our plan now is to extend classes through the end of June to make up for most of the time missed. We will collect tuition for June.
I have included a good article on how to talk to your children about the virus. https://www.pbs.org/parents/thrive/how-to-talk-to-your-kids-about-coronavirus?fbclid=IwAR1E_-_Lu2v32O-W6CSWD1tDLlyUgAggrFnMu8lVFIvqaxF-tJDW-oAkzc8
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you should have any questions. I will keep you updated on any changes. God bless,
Mrs. D, Director
